In the midst of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness and the Glacier Peaks Wilderness areas, hiking in the Wenatchee National Forest offers some of the most scenic and challenging terrain in the Pacific Northwest.
With over 2,500 miles of recreational trails, hikers of all ages can find a place to enjoy the beauty of this area. Leavenworth Ranger Station have maps of all the trails in the areas as well as day use permits for those areas that require them.
